Description: The Latika Roy Foundation Fundraising Director maintains current donor relationships while actively pursuing new initiatives to support the annual and projected budgets. Strong interpersonal and networking skills allow this individual to develop relationships with other NGO's, schools, and potential sponsors while working with the foundation to develop new funding campaigns. Energetic and outgoing, he or she will be the face of the organization to our benefactors and the media.Responsibilities:
- Create funding initiatives:
- identify potential donors
- establish contact
- pursue sponsorship
- Run targeted grant campaigns:
- compose eloquent and effective proposals
- following through after established contact
- Maintain current benefactor and community relations:
- oversee reporting systems
- foster relationships with donors
- facilitate exchanges between Latika Roy Foundation and its contributors
- act as liaison to the media
Necessary Skills:
- Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Hindi
- Aptitude for interpersonal and organizational networking
- Media management and public relations know-how
- Computer savvy
- Knowledge of fundraising issues related to developmental and educational programs
- Ability to form and fund a budget
