It’s not always possible for a child to come to Karuna Vihar. Some kids live too far away to make it on a daily basis, some have disabilities too severe for us to handle at this point in our existence and sometimes, even though the child is perfect for us, we just don’t have the space to accept him.
For all these children, we offer the Home Management Program, a creative, condensed version of the Individual Education Plans we design for the children enrolled in our projects. The success of a home management plan rests with the family. This is both its strength and its challenge. |
