Networking is just a fancy word for relationships, for making the most of what human beings are best at: finding other like-minded people and building a community. Our networking team creates alliances with others in the field as well as with people who have nothing to do with disability. While we enjoy working with our colleagues in rehabilitation, we also feel stretched and inspired by those working on making education fun for kids, protecting and preserving our environment, workers’ rights and prison reform. In the end, we are all people: what concerns one, concerns all. That’s what networking is all about.
