Disability is a part of life, but a deep part. Having a disability, or working with people who do, forces us to think more radically about the meaning of life and our place on the earth. It challenges many of our dearest assumptions and plans and invites us to see the world from a radically different perspective. Some of us find it helpful to write about our new understanding – often in ways that seem to have nothing to do with disability at all.
We share some of those writings here and we would love to hear your thoughts on any of the subjects we address – from adoption to stem cells, from music to holy communion it’s a wide range!
